Guido has been
interviewed by eWeek, and discusses his work at Google and the future of Python. It's not a terribly in-depth article, but contains one big revelation. The mythic Python 3000, which will reformulate some basic concepts and hence break backwards compatibility, may actually be available within two to three years. Guido's position at Google leaves half his time free to work directly on Python. Sounds like a brilliant job!
It's nice to see further mainstream attention being given to Python. This article was picked up by ACM TechNews and no doubt other aggregators.
