"The Same Mistakes" -- A Music Blog

For some time I've been wanting to post about my favourite music blogs. But now I don't have to -- I've just received an email about a brand new site that might well act as a one-stop shop for anyone interested in obscure post-punk music. "The Same Mistakes" promises new wave and minimal synth, but with the range of experience the authors possess I think we're in for lots more than that.

The first post is a manifesto I can truly believe in. This has been followed by the complete discography of Faith Global, an obscure early eighties group based around the original guitarist for Ultravox.

From the looks of things this won't be some hit and run blog that is happy to quote the Allmusic Guide ad nauseum. Rather the posts will be informative and rely on definitive research conducted by the writers. Most of the audio files will also be original high quality rips from vinyl.

I've been wishing I had more time to write about music from that era. Now (perhaps) I won't need to!
